FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

DO STUDENTS THAT ATTEND CITY CHURCH COLLEGE NEED TO ATTEND/BE A MEMBER OF THE CHURCH?

No.

DO I NEED TO BE PRESENT ON CAMPUS DURING THE DURATION OF ENROLLMENT?

Yes, however, the time spent on campus will differ between the intern track and degree track.

WHAT DOES THE INTERN TRACK ENTAIL?

Students that know they want to serve in ministry long-term, potentially seeking a career in ministry, would choose our internship. This program lasts a total of two years. Those that take this route will spend the majority of their time during the week training and growing in the area of ministry they feel interested in pursuing. Interns will train on campus based on what best fits the City Church Staff member’s work schedule and the student’s schedule. If we have serving opportunities for interns to participate in, and it exceeds the 15 hour minimum, the student is more than welcome to participate if he/she likes. If the event fits within the area they are serving in, it is up to the staff member to determine if the intern is required to attend. Attendance at chapel once a week is required.

WHAT IS THE GOAL (INTERNSHIP - TOWARDS WHAT)?

The internship is offered to position young adults for exactly what they want to do during and after college. This could be, but is not limited to drawing closer to God, serving, learning how to operate in ministry, etc. Our goal is to help students reach their goal.
